Filtering our perceptions of our virtual reality to remember that the way people present themselves and their lives’ on social media is not always the way things really are.
Each Video Session lasts 4 to 5 minutes and corresponds directly and interactively to the Study Guide. Below is the video for the INTENTIONS section of F.I.L.T.E.R. to give you an idea of what kids will see while taking the course.
The F.I.L.T.E.R. First Study Guide is designed to engage students with our teaching video series while introducing them to some of the situations they will encounter on social media.
Each section of the acronym provides students with healthy boundaries, or Filters, to set for their social media use.
Within each section are discussion questions, facts, and independent activities to complete.
Expert testimonies written by people with first hand experience on the topics are also included in each section.
The video series can be streamed online from any computer, phone, or tablet.
